Welcome to Caracoda Equestrian. By visiting our workshop online or purchasing from our provisions, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These Terms of the Estate apply to all users of the site, including browsers, patrons, and merchants. We kindly ask that you read them carefully before accessing or utilising our services.
The Nature of Our Craft
Every Caracoda Equestrian piece is a distinct work of traditional English craftsmanship, constructed from meticulously restored vintage saddle leather. Because these saddles have lived previous lives and endured the elements, the leather will naturally display historic marks, variations in grain, and distinct patinas. These characteristics are inherent to the heritage of the material and are deliberately preserved during our restoration process. They are celebrated as hallmarks of authenticity, not structural defects. By commissioning or purchasing a piece, the customer acknowledges and accepts the unique, varied nature of these historic materials.
Provisions & Commissions
We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel any order at our sole discretion. This may occur if a requested commission falls outside the scope of our established models, or if an item has been listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error. In the event of a cancellation on our part, you will be notified immediately and fully refunded. Prices for our goods are subject to change without notice as the availability and cost of vintage saddles fluctuate. As outlined in our Returns & Refunds policy, all made-to-order pieces and specific commissions are strictly final sale due to the profound investment of labour required to prepare the leather.
Intellectual Property & The Archive
The Caracoda Equestrian brand, encompassing our specific bag designs, heritage models, the contents of The Cartulary, photography, text, and workshop recipes, is the exclusive intellectual property of Caracoda Equestrian. Governing Law
These Terms of the Estate and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
